MCA Wood Products was started in 1998 by Ron Hammond as a side business out of his single car garage. The goal at the time was to make extra money each month so his wife could stay home with their children.  Within a short period of time it was realized that more space was needed and the shop was moved to his parents barn. Ron was able to make that work for about 2 years.

This part time business kept growing and soon he found himself needing more room again. Fortunately, his grandfather offered to build a new shop on his property. This was a huge boost to the business and something that Ron will be grateful for the rest of his life.

Over the next 12 years Ron quit his job and worked full time at the cabinet shop, hired employees, and expanded the building four times until they simply couldn't expand anymore.

In 2014, MCA moved to their current 16,000 sq. ft. facility, which includes a manufacturing space, finishing shop, and showroom space. They have assembled a team of highly skilled craftsmen with the knowledge and skill to build just about anything with wood.  By combining the skill of their team with computer design and state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, they are able to deliver quality built products on time and on budget.
